This year, Formal Assessments will take place from Thursday 5 January 2023 to Friday 20 January 2023.
Most assessments will take place in the Gym Hall, but some will take place in Classrooms. The timetable will tell you where your assessment will be. The timetable can be found on the by clicking on the “Formal Assessment Timetable” tab on this page.
You should attend school as normal when you do not have assessments, and school uniform must be worn at all times.
If you are sitting assessments, please use the Formal Assessment Timetable to plan your studies and ensure that you are aware when you have an assessment.
A reminder of some key points relating to Formal Assessments in the Exam Halls…..…
- Report to the Dining Hall 15 minutes before the start time.
- Return to class after your assessment unless it is break, lunch or the end of the school day
- Be polite and follow the instructions of the Invigilators. They will tell you when you can leave the exam room.
- Bring all the equipment you will need. All exams must be written in black or blue pen unless you are told otherwise.
- NO MOBILE PHONES, iPADs OR MP3 PLAYERS SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO THE EXAM ROOM – IF YOU DO THEN THEY MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN YOUR BAGS OR HANDED IN TO THE INVIGILATORS.
- BAGS SHOULD BE LEFT AT THE FRONT OF THE EXAM ROOM.
