Gracemount High School – Education Academy Programme 2025
The school has been working with Education Academy – previously known as Saturday School About – Education Academy Scotland to deliver a bespoke Gracemount model for our pupils who are studying the following subject areas:
- National 5 and Higher English
- National 5 and Higher Maths
- National 5 and Higher Chemistry
- National 5 Biology
- National 5 Physics
The programme entails six 1 hour and 20-minute weekly lessons which will run from February to the end of March with grade booster sessions scheduled for April 2025. Please note there are no Grade Booster days for English.
Nationally these sessions cost £30 each however with Gracemount students there is no cost. However, to secure a place a £20 pound fully refundable deposit is required. This is regardless of how many subjects your child ops into. This can be in cash or via our school’s ParentPay account. Students would have to attend all the session to have their deposit refunded. Any pupil who is withdrawn from the course by the school would have their deposit fully reimbursed.
Please note that depending on interest the school will allocate places depending on level of support required and or target group of pupils. There is no guarantee of a place at this stage.
Should you wish your child to participate in the programme please complete the tear off slip on This Letter and return to Mr Hunter with the £20 deposit by no later than Friday 17 January.
Any family that may struggle to meet this initial cost should contact Mr Hunter. Full support will be provided.
